Is my child's information secure?

Yes. All documents and personal information are encrypted at rest and in transit. We follow strict privacy protocols and we share your child's IEP only as our Privacy Policy describes: with advocates you choose to connect with, and with the service providers that run the platform, such as the AI service that reads it. We take FERPA compliance seriously and your data is never used to train AI models.

Who are the advocates on the platform?

Advocates on My IEP Hero are independent special education professionals. Each profile shows their credentials, specialties and any parent reviews, so you can check them before you connect.

How do you make advocacy affordable?

Traditional advocates charge $100–$400 per hour, which most families can't afford. My IEP Hero lets you start with AI tools for free, and connects you with advocates at rates far below the market rate. We believe every child deserves great advocacy, not just those who can afford it.

Do you support 504 plans too?

Yes. While we're built around IEPs, our analysis tools, document vault, communication tracker, and advocate network all support 504 plans. Our AI understands Section 504 accommodations and can flag gaps just like it does for IEPs.
